| The weekend Market is famious in Phuket town. originally located on Phang Nga Road (near the bus station), it is now located on Haofa Road West (Chaofa Nok in Thai) and is opened Saturday and Sunday at the end of the afternoon (from 4pm). You can find almost anything there, and all the stuff sold in Patong or Kata Beach are almost found for half price there. Its name in Thai is Talaad Thai-Rot Chaofa Nok. You even can have a snack there, as numerous shops sell food, from grilled insects to delicious Kanom Jin. |
